In response to recent changes in AI law and the practice of watermarking every project that has used AI in any way, Cynthia Dees Publishing Inc has created the following AI use policy for its authors, effective August 1, 2026.
- Every word on this company’s website, social media, and writing has been approved, edited, and/or created by a human.
- Any use of AI is 100% overseen by a human, and any output from an AI is subject to rigorous human scrutiny, editing, and expertise.
- There will never be a step of the writing process that is not either completely controlled/overseen and/or created by a human.
- Although AI is a powerful tool, we employ a professional human editor to edit and proofread every single book, and we hire a human cover designer to conceive, design, and create every single cover. Humans remain the final arbiters of all editorial decisions.
- All final creative decisions are made by humans.
