Cynthia Dees is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books. She has written in a variety of genres but found a forever home in clean and wholesome romance stories about the healing power of love and laughter. A 2-time RITA winner and five-time RITA finalist from the Romance Writers of America, she is also a Career Lifetime Achievement Award nominee from Romantic Times. She sets many of her books in small towns full of quirky characters who remind her a bit too much of her own family and friends.

She found her own Prince Charming, a military pilot who reminds her a LOT of Captain America, and followed him around the world, ending up in Texas. They eventually put down roots, started a family, and she started writing. Cynthia has a grown daughter and two very big dogs named Mochi and Waffles who keep the whole household entertained with their silly antics. She loves cooking, any craft that involves needles or yarn (or both), and can be usually be found in her garden early in the morning before Texas becomes blistering hot.
